| It's impossible to even think about keeping up with construction these days--this is just a sample of
some of the wonderful things people have been building. If you want to submit your site for inclusion, send me mail at webmaster@synergycorp.com. Be sure to tell me exactly what you're emailing about. If you like, include screen shots. Size of the screen shots should be approximately 480x360, and they should be in JPEG format captured using hicolor (16-bit, millions of colors) screen resolution. Be sure to give exact coordinates and a general description of the site. Please realize that it is hard to pick which sites to cover...the process is somewhat random. As usual, just click on a smaller in-line picture to see a larger one. |

A view of the front of the theater | Mm. Thespian emailed me months
ago about her Elizabethan theatre,The
Globe...I got out there recently and
found some amazing construction. Along with all the great AW construction, this site features many links to the World Wide Web. You can link to the complete works of Shakespeare at the sign on the memorium path; find out about the "real" Globe Theatre at the entrance sign; get a customized Shakespearean insult at the beer garden sign; pull up a quote from Shakespeare to read as you stand on the stage; get into the Shakespeare discussion group at the sign down in the actors's greenroom under the stage. As an added bonus, Mm T has built a ship out behind the theatre on the Thames River. From near the ship you can click on various signs to take you to other incredible sites such as a ski resort, a carousel and park, and Mm Thespian's house. Don't miss this outstanding site: teleport don't walk to 193s 649e 180! |
Bass Haven RevisitedI didn't feel like I did justice to the city of Bass Haven last issue, so I asked Fishinhook, the mayor, to provide me with a brochure about the city. Check it out! It's totally incredible. Hint: if you fall into the well a t 3023N 38E, use SHIFT to get out. |

Circle of Fire, the creators of Yellowstone, now have opened Metatropolis! Metatropolis is a big change from Yellowstone, apparently fashioned after such bleak future visions as 1984 and Bladerunner. Some people love it, some are just a little spooked, but everyone who visits is impressed! | |
Buildings in Metatropolis are tall, great for jumping off! | Fashioned with
rendering speed in mind,
Metatropolis packs a
wallop of a first
impression, with
screaming frame rate
and visibility and bleak
and spacey sound files. Metatropolis is unlikely to ever allow free building, so some of the objects break rules adhered to in AlphaWorld. This creates some anomalies such as buildings that aren't visibile from the inside or don't have proper collision detection, but the overall affect is phenomenal. |
