Synergy Corp. has been hosting for Active Worlds longer than anyone, including the folks who own it! We like to think we're the best at it. Our connections to the Internet are fast and reliable, and we don't oversell our bandwidth. All our worlds run on a Unix box, as the world server software was designed for Unix and runs best in that environment. Prices start at just $100/year (payable by the quarter if you like, or by the month for larger worlds.) We can supply a website for artwork downloads as well for a small additional fee. Email for details--please include information about the number of users your world is licensed for. How large it is doesn't really figure into the price in most cases but include that information as well too please.

Be aware that there are numerous places to go for free websites these days if you also post some HTML about your world. The downside of this is just that popup advertising (usually minimal) appears over the HTML pages. However, this will not affect downloads of art for your world.
